The Supreme Neon Mountain of Pyongyang - The Embassy of Cultural Exchange
This project redefines the meaning of embassy and cultural diplomacy through polemic use of symbols and building typology in the city of Pyongyang, North Korea. This building critically uses the banality and superficiality of South Korean Pop culture as a subversive tool to engage with the current situation between two anxious nations.
