In response to the brief to define a ‘Nebulous Room’, we translated our impressions of our found room into geometric tile patterns. For the Boundary Project, I modelled Chinatown as defined by all things red. The final two terms involved reinventing of institutions. Firstly, I created a piece of propaganda appropriate to the cause of my institution, namely sandwich boxes that unfold into tools to protest against corporate malpractice of carbon cost. My final project was inspired by the ‘Agape Restaurant’ of Alain de Botton, a restaurant to promote better community cohesion through the deconstruction of the traditional meal using light.
