Bare life, bare architecture. The Nu city plays the rules of blurred sovereignty: is partially an enclave and partially an exchanger.
The interplay between offshore sea freedom and on-shore extraterritoriality allows the city to become a political laboratory for experimental citizenship.
Nu City Grid
Nu City acts as a jurisdictional enclave while forming short-lived informational tax havens. Because its architecture depends on acts of evasion the territorial grid that constitutes its genome it’s algorithmically generated and adaptable over time. Nu City therefore is implemented as an act of voluntary self-colonialism, implementing exponentially the archetype of the grid to achieve maximum organization: from maximum freedom within a fixed grid to maximum flexibility of the grid and no flexibility within the grid
