This research is a development of a prototype city over a new found Uranium reserve in India which will extract, process, and distribute the fuel made from this powerful ore while using the infrastructure that will be created in order to collect and reprocess the nuclear waste produced from nuclear reactors across the country. The prototypical city will be treated as an interface for the inspection and control of the underground facilities as well as for the management of the information.
The aim of this proposal is to investigate the co-existential relationships between nuclear energy and men, by taking full use of the potential of nuclear energy that can be extracted from its location, while reducing its hazardous waste that would become heritage for thousands of generations to come. By doing so the project will aim to close the nuclear fuel cycle which will optimize the balance with its environment.
