My project growns out of an environmental project into an architectural one. It tackles the future dust pollution problems in the Salton Sea area.
The dust pollution is addressed by building giant dust collector machines. These machines then plug in to a processing plant which distilles plaster from the dust.
The plaster is then offered to a new community that I design in the town of Niland.
I design simple strucutres called the activators that allow the RV community to settle within them and chaange them accoarding to their own needs.
The project in essence is about a new event in the desert that is possible because of the clean air and the byproduct of that - plaster.
