TROY X: The Other Tradition The project rejects the contemporary grid city as a model for city organization and instead bases its interest within the historic city model. Both typologies however, are in no way arbitrary and Troy X's mission is to outline its own set of controls in formulating an alternative figure ground plan for the city.

A detailed look at the relationship between land allocation, building and infrastructure. Buildings are private, land can be acquired post-building and the continuous surface defines public space eliminating the use of a public squares.
